No mystery. No black boxes. This is the complete process — your timeline, my actions, and what you'll see at every step.

From First Message to Your Front Door

You Send Your Inquiry

A rough idea is enough — product type, approximate quantity, target price. No formal spec sheet required at this stage. We'll ask the right follow-up questions.

Takes you 5 minutes

Within 24 hours: I confirm receipt and send a brief set of clarifying questions if needed.

We Research & Contact Factories

We search 1688, our personal factory contacts, and trade databases. We contact suppliers in Chinese — directly, not through a form. We compare quotes, check production capacity, and verify business licenses.

48–72 hours You receive: 2–3 factory options with price comparison

Sample Review

If the product requires a physical sample (most do), we coordinate sample production with the chosen factory. When it arrives, we inspect it against your requirements and send you detailed photos.

5–14 days for sample You receive: 20+ photos + our written assessment

Order Confirmation & Deposit

Once you approve the sample, we prepare the purchase order in Chinese and English. Payment is made to us — typically 30% deposit, 70% before shipping. We then handle all factory payments on your behalf. You never need to wire money to a factory you've never met.

1–2 days You receive: Full PI in English + payment instructions

Production Monitoring

During production, I stay in contact with the factory. I request progress photos at key milestones and alert you to any delays before they become problems.

Typically 15–45 days You receive: Progress updates + production photos

QC Inspection & Shipment

Before goods leave the factory, our team does a pre-shipment inspection. We check a sample of units against your spec, photograph defects if any, and either approve or request rework. Then we coordinate freight and send you all export documents.

3–5 days inspection + shipping time You receive: QC report + B/L + all export docs

This Is What Our Conversations Actually Look Like

Subject: Re: Your Sourcing Inquiry

Hi [Name],

Thanks for getting in touch. Based on what you've described, here's my initial read:

  • Product category: Kitchen accessories (silicone)
  • Likely production region: Guangdong / Fujian
  • Estimated FOB price range: $2.80–$4.20/unit (MOQ 200–500 pcs)
  • Red flag to watch: Most 'silicone' on Alibaba is actually TPR — cheaper but lower quality. We'll verify this with any factory we contact.

Can you confirm: does the product need FDA food-safe certification?

Recommendation: Factory B offers the best value — lowest price at a reasonable MOQ. Lack of ISO cert is fine for non-regulated products. Strong WeChat responsiveness.

We Don't Pretend Problems Don't Happen

Here's what we do in the three most common problem scenarios.

Scenario 1

Quality Doesn't Match the Sample

We document the defects with photos, quantify the percentage of affected units, and contact the factory immediately — in Chinese — with your options: rework at their cost, partial refund, or replacement production.

Your risk: Minimized by pre-shipment QC
Scenario 2

Production is Delayed

We alert you as soon as we know — not when it's already a crisis. We get a revised timeline from the factory in writing and assess whether your shipping window is still viable. We adjust the plan together.

Your risk: Reduced by milestone check-ins
Scenario 3

Specifications Are Wrong

If the factory produced something that doesn't match the agreed specs, we escalate with the documented purchase order as evidence. In most cases, factories will rework or compensate — especially when the spec was in writing.

Your risk: Reduced by written PO in Chinese

What We Promise You

24-Hour Response

We respond to all new inquiries within 24 hours. For active clients, within 4 hours during business hours (UTC+8).

Photo Evidence Always

Every factory visit, every QC inspection comes with real photos — not stock images, not factory-provided marketing shots.

We'll Tell You 'No'

If a product isn't feasible, the factory isn't trustworthy, or the price doesn't make sense — we'll say so. Even if it means losing the project.

More Questions Answered

What if I don't have a spec sheet?
You don't need one to start. A rough description — 'I want silicone kitchen spatulas, around 500 units, targeting under $3' — is enough. We'll help develop a proper spec sheet as part of the sourcing process.
Do you handle customs clearance in my country?
We handle everything on the China side — export declaration, commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin. Import customs in your country is your responsibility, though we can recommend freight forwarders who offer door-to-door DDP service.
What if a factory I found myself needs verifying?
Absolutely. Send us the factory's details and we'll do a background check, request their license, and if needed, visit in person. This is a standalone service.
